Grief is a universal pain; no one can escape it. As much as we would like to avoid it, loss is a part of life and grief is a normal rection to loss. Grief and Loss Education is about learning to honestly deal with the pain of life’s losses -death, divorce/broken marriage, disappointments, medical diagnosis, failed career, and more- and no longer be restrained by them. Grief and Loss Education helps a person to grieve well so that (s)he can live well. Life can never be the same again, but it can be good again.
Alhesha Lane Whitmire is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, Certified Grief Educator, and American Association of Christian Counselors Master Coach – Grief and Loss Specialization.
